Manchester Contract Flooring Co Ltd was founded in Urmston in 2002. Today, our three-director management team brings over 50 years of combined flooring experience to every contract — from a single retail unit to a luxury hotel refit, anywhere in the UK and Ireland.

We provide industry-qualified advice at tendering stage, accurate costings, a dedicated project manager per contract, and highly experienced fitting craftsmen on site. Whether the specification comes from an architect or designer, or needs expert input from us, every project gets the same hands-on attention and quality control.

Karl has spent almost his entire working life in flooring — widely regarded across the trade as the best planner and estimator in the business. If a job needs costing accurately on a tight deadline, Karl is the man with the calculator.

Off the clock: former semi-pro footballer at Stockport County, and once flew to Sydney for a single day — a trip that famously made the news.

A literally lifelong flooring career — Steve’s father owned a carpet shop, so the trade is in the blood. Keeps a firm eye on the purse strings and makes sure every contract finishes on budget as well as on time.

Off the clock: travel, the Grand Prix, ten-pin bowling, and a lifelong Manchester City supporter.
